Dr. Rachel’s Devilled Eggs | Fertility Naturopath
Devilled eggs are an excellent snack to enjoy when trying to conceive. Eggs are packed full of protein, healthy fats, choline and more, which all benefit fertility outcomes.
Here is my recipe for Devilled Eggs - just in time for Easter, too
Ingredients:
1 dozen eggs
2 Tbsp olive-oil based mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
Black pepper and paprika for seasoning
Method:
Begin by placing all 12 eggs into a large pot and covering with water.
Bring to a boil. Once boiling, set your time for 5 minutes.
Once your timer is up remove the eggs from the heat and drain right away with cold water. I actually recommend rinsing under cold water until eggs are cool to the touch. This will make removing the shells easier.
Remove all egg shells.
Cut your eggs in 1/2 lengthwise. Scoop out the yolk and place into a separate bowl.
Line the egg white halves on a serving platter.
In the egg yolk bowl add in the remaining ingredients except for pepper and paprika.
Mash all together and scoop into a plastic baggie.
Cut the tip off the corner of the baggie and pipe the filling into the egg white halves.
Sprinkle with pepper and paprika.
Enjoy!
